Surprise Birthday Party
I planned a super fun surprise
party for my husband's 28th birthday. In order for this theme to be
funny you have to know 4 things about Brian: he works out a lot, loves
BBQ, doesn’t own a t-shirt with sleeves & does NOT like
attention. So I decided to make this a sleeveless shirt theme. I
asked everyone that came to wear a cut off t-shirt. I even made cut offs for
the pups! I ordered bbq from his favorite place...Oklahoma Joes. I
had photos of him enlarged with his shirt off (which he was so embarrassed by)
and people signed them. I even had his picture on the cake in a sleeveless tee.
I had cute bbq containers for all the food. I did all red and white
decorations to match the checkered table clothes. I had so much fun planning
this surprise party. It was a great summer party!
Baptism
Warner's special day was very sweet! I decorated with tons of pictures. I wrapped the staircase with tool and pinned pictures all the way up it. I framed pictures of each guest that came when they first met Warner. Each person took their picture home with them. I also gave each person a cross sugar cookie. It was a special day to celebrate a special boy!
Gender Reveal Party
I always wanted to have an ice
cream party so I decided this was the perfect time! I wanted to have all the
ice cream toppings in the blue for BOY! I had every topping and sweet you could
think of. I had milk jugs and 3 different flavors of milk. I emailed the
invites out but did not put on them that it was to reveal the gender of our baby.
So when people showed up and walked into the kitchen it was priceless! I was
waiting in there with the camera and captured everyone's expression when they
saw...It's a boy! It was and always will be one of my favorite days. I was so
excited to share with our friends and family that we were having a boy. This
was the perfect way to do. I will never forget the happiness that filled the
house that day. Everyone made it so special and acted so surprised. I will
always remember how happy I was and how much we all laughed together. It was
appropriate that I had such a sweet party to announce the gender because our
boy Warner couldn't be sweeter!
Dog Birthday Party
My dogs are like children so I love having birthday parties for them. Three Dog Bakery has the best dog cakes, food and bones for such occasion. I made a dog treat bar for all the dogs to take party favors home. I made doggy bags for their treats. I enlarged Figgy's picture and put his paw print on it with paint.
